Coconut oil and curry leaves – This remedy has been tried and tested for many generations. At some point in your life, we’re sure your daadi insisted on oiling your hair and braiding it in a tight plait! (Memories!)
This beauty treatment is pretty easy. Take 4 tablespoons of coconut oil, to which you should add a few curry leaves. Bring this to a boil. The oil will start going from clear to a deep green colour. Once it is cool, massage it into your hair and onto your scalp. Wrap your hair in a shower cap for about 30 minutes and wash it thoroughly with shampoo. You will have shiny and soft hair in NO time! - Avocado – With nutrients that will deeply nourish and moisturize your hair, an avocado hair mask should be your go-to weekly hair regime. It also is excellent for dry and damaged hair. For this hair mask, you will need to combine one ripe avocado with two tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil. Apply this mixture on damp hair, from the roots to the ends. Cover with a shower cap for 30 minutes. Finally, rinse and shampoo your hair as usual. Your hair will thank you!
- Yogurt – Ugh, the weather is a mess these days! Yogurt not only works as a deep conditioner, but it also helps you cool your scalp. This regime is pretty simple and straightforward. Brush out your hair well with a wide-tooth comb. Spread some plain yogurt evenly over your hair. Keep it covered with a shower cap for 30 minutes and then rinse it out with lukewarm water. Follow this with your regular shampoo-conditioner wash and voila! Your hair is ramp-ready!
Make sure you follow any one of these regimes at least once a week. Do you have any awesome home remedies you use on your hair? Let us know!
